My first concept is inspired by Stefan Sagmeister’s installation artwork that uses letterforms crafted out of various materials and placed into public settings or nature. I want to incorporate that idea in combination with the selling point of the light field camera, its depth of field capabilities, and create an advertisement that will snapshot the cameras function.
My next idea is a owners manual/getting started guide for the camera that will clearly visualize how the camera works. It will be a brochure style infographic that will visually explain the cameras function in style of Edward Tuftes brilliant infographics.
My final idea could be incorporated with the previous one and will be a cover for instruction manual or owners guide. In respect to the work of Chip Kidd I will try to graphically represent the entirety of the product in one clean, simple, and straight forward layout.

Here is some inspiration I found in the direction I want to aim my shampoo packaging towards. Muted pastel colors, organic text, abstract patterns and shapes, natural textures. I am going for an overall soft and elegant look to appeal to female market while boosting the overall quality feel of the product.
The product I choose to redesign the packaging for is a hispanic shampoo, Manzanilla Grisi. Currently the packaging is very generic and cheap looking. It is comparable to lower end American shampoo products like Suave. Even though the product packaging is currently a unisex, I want to give it a feminine touch, since it is the scent of the chamomile flower and incorporates the flower in the current packaging.
